S’mores Tart on a plate

Serves: 10-12

Ingredients

     
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 4–5 cups mini marshmallows (or mix of large and mini for texture)

Directions

     
  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line the bottom of a springform pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the pan. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until lightly golden. Cool.
  3. Heat the cream until just simmering. Pour over the chocolate chips and let sit for 2–3 minutes. Stir until smooth, then add the vanilla and salt. Pour the ganache into the crust and chill for 1–2 hours, until set.
  4. Top with marshmallows. Toast with a kitchen torch, or broil for 30–60 seconds, watching carefully.

This tart can be messy. When slicing, use a hot knife, cleaning between each cut.
